WHY MASSAGE THERAPY?

The massage therapy field is growing rapidly, both in demand for Licensed Massage Therapists and in job opportunities. Increasingly, people are seeking the therapeutic benefits of massage to reduce stress and alleviate pain. Research is documenting the significant health benefits of massage, making massage a vital part of any integrative approach to healthcare. Massage therapists work in a variety of settings which include private practice, massage clinics, physical therapy offices, hospitals, wellness centers, chiropractic clinics, health spas, vacation resorts, cruise ships, athletic clubs, beauty salons, and hotels. A career in professional Massage Therapy will give you an opportunity to join this growing field and enjoy professional success and rewarding opportunities.

At Western States Chiropractic College’s Massage Therapy Program, we trust in the healing power of massage therapy. We also recognize that experiencing the life-enhancing effects of massage first hand, and having a deep understanding of what massage therapy is about, are the foundations for helping others through touch.

If you are interested in becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, we offer a unique opportunity for massage therapy training in beautiful Portland. It is a great honor and privilege to be among the few select individuals truly inspired and called to this profession. At WSCC, you will find yourself among friends and learn from experienced professionals who truly want to help you acquire the therapeutically oriented and clinically based skills that clients expect from a WSCC graduate.
